The new 20-bed Roma Hospital Student Accommodation precinct includes five pavilions, four comprising 5 ensuited bedrooms, a common room and kitchenette. Other amenities of the precinct include; common areas for study and recreation, a main kitchen and dining area, offices, and a swimming pool overlooking landscaped courtyards.
The Woollam team worked collaboratively with the client to develop and deliver cost saving solutions, without compromising project functionality or quality. The project team put careful consideration into the spatial arrangements and comfort of the living quarters, as students would need quality rest after working long shifts at the hospital while also maintaining social interaction to boost wellbeing.
