About Woollam Constructions

Working Together
to build legacies

Leading. Learning. Leaving a Legacy.

We’ve been around for more than 136 years because we do what we say – we’re a business built on trust. Today, our strength and desire is to not only stick around, but to drive the industry forward toward better standards by consistently learning, growing, developing and delivering the optimum result for our communities and all those who we do business with.

PARTNER / DESIGN / DEVELOP / BUILD / SERVICE

National Standards. Local Focus.

Partnering to design and build landmarks throughout regional Australia is the backbone of Woollam. With local trades, local suppliers, and local labor we’ve laid railway tracks during WWII to charter military supplies across the outback, we built the iconic Stockman’s Hall of Fame and watched the Queen cut its opening ribbon in Longreach.

We’ve constructed the Government’s single biggest health investment in Central Queensland, revived the airport to Western Australia’s vast Pilbara and delivered essential school precincts for rural students in 2020. Across any landscape, any industry, and works of every size and complexity, we successfully navigate the challenges of remote and metro areas to ensure that every job is our local landmark.

Empowering the next generation.

Progressing and challenging our entire team.

Since the beginning, Woollam has forged a journey of mentorship – developing young team members through the ranks of the business. Managing Director Craig Percival and Director George Bogiatzis began as young and dashing cadets – working under the guidance of Tom and Keith Woollam and absorbing the Woollam Way.

The tradition lives on; beyond our commitment of progressing, challenging, and bettering our entire team, the Woollam Young Builders Alliance (WYBA) program sees apprentices and university students gain real world experience across the company via cadetships. We foster an environment that inspires our people to build a future at Woollam, encourages the next generation of leaders and preserves our vibrant company culture.
